Undergraduate Programme in Biotechnology
Overview
The Biotechnology and Bioengineering programmes at IQS focus on the areas of health care, industry and research.
This programme is oriented to discovering the biochemical and molecular mechanisms that determine the functioning of cells, tissues and living beings. You will also be trained in the industrial biotechnological product in order to detect and cure diseases, develop medical devices and improve health and human life.

Objective
The duration of the undergraduate programme is 4 years (8 semesters) and consists of 240 ECTS. The curriculum is designed for a full-time student to take 60 ECTS per academic year. The Permanent Committee of the Academic Board of the IQS School of Engineering will allow students to study part-time, provided they take a minimum of 30 ECTS per academic year.
